Asthma Toolbox

Welcome to the new toolbox for people doing asthma education in New Hampshire. It was developed by the Asthma Educator Subcommittee, Asthma Health Improvement Working Group, and NH Asthma Control Program and contains selected references and resources from among the many, many materials available. We hope it will become an indispensable asset in your work.

The on-line toolbox contains information in the following areas: office reference, office tools, pediatric patient education, books for children about asthma, adult patient education, environmental resources, smoking resources, and office display materials. Our selections were made based on what we felt were the best, most user-friendly, and most accessible materials, including those available as downloadable files or through local sources.

We would like to note our appreciation and thanks to the members of the Asthma Educator Subcommittee and Asthma Health Improvement Working Group who worked on the toolbox and helped produce it. With the toolbox and other program initiatives and professional development opportunities, we all hope to be successful in improving the health status and quality of life for people with asthma in New Hampshire.

Please let us know how useful you find the Toolbox and send us other resources you think should be included.
